On this date in 1997, Wade Boggs pitches for the first time since college. He throws a perfect 8th inning. Boggs was a lifetime .328 hitter, member of the 3,000 hit club and first year ballot Hall of Famer in 2005. Most important, he dominated pitches while wearing a Mustache.
