Why the Oakland A’s used to dominate the MLB

To the Mustache hater this may come as a shock. But there is a scientific reason of why the Oakland A’s used to dominate the MLB. And the Mustache deserves all the credit…..

Led by such greats as Jim “Catfish” Hunter, the Oakland A’s won 3 straight championships during the 1970’s.

Rollie Fingers, the first true closer in MLB history, baffled hitters with his variety of pitches and handle-bar Mustache.

Reggie Jackson slugged 568 home runs and did so wearing one hell of a Mustache.

During the 1980’s Oakland was almost as good. Even though they only won 1 World Series, they won three more American League Pennants. Of course this team was led by pitching great Dennis Eckersley who of course wore a Mustache.
